Safety is part of how the program is delivered.
Troop 41 follows current Scouting America youth-protection and health-and-safety requirements. Parents are encouraged to understand who is supervising Scouts, how communication works, and how overnight activities are managed.

Does my child need Cub Scout or camping experience?
No. New Scouts are expected to be new. Skills are taught progressively through meetings and activities.
Do we need to buy a uniform or camping gear before visiting?
No. Visit first. If your family decides to join, troop leaders can explain uniform basics and what equipment is actually worth buying.
What does the time commitment look like?
Troop 41 meets Wednesdays from 7:00–8:30 PM. The program also includes outdoor activities, service projects and special events throughout the year.

Can parents observe before joining?
Yes. Prospective parents are encouraged to attend, watch the troop operate, meet leaders and ask questions.
Is Troop 41 for boys and girls?
Yes. Troop 41 operates as a Scouts BSA Family Troop serving male and female Scouts.
