Program & Adventures

Scouting is something you do.

Camping, navigation, cooking, first aid, leadership, service, advancement, and the kind of experiences that make better stories than another night on a screen.

Outdoor program

The meeting teaches it. The outdoors tests it.

Scouting works because Scouts use what they learn in real situations—planning meals, finding routes, setting up camp, solving problems, helping teammates, and adapting when the plan changes.

OUTDOORS

Camping & Hiking

Planning, packing, campsite organization, hiking, teamwork, outdoor confidence, and self-reliance.

SKILLS

Navigation & Preparedness

Maps, compass, route planning, first aid, emergency thinking, and knowing what to do when something changes.

PATROL

Cooking & Teamwork

Meal planning, shopping, cooking, sanitation, cleanup, shared responsibility—and sometimes learning from a meal that did not go perfectly.

Challenge builds confidence.
Patrol method

Scouts learn to depend on one another.

Patrols are small teams where Scouts divide responsibilities, solve problems, plan activities, and learn that a successful weekend requires everyone to contribute.

  • Youth make decisions appropriate to their experience
  • Older Scouts teach younger Scouts
  • Adults coach, supervise and support
  • Leadership is practiced—not just discussed
Growth over time

Learn it. Practice it. Lead it. Teach it.
